Thank You: to all the helpers for the Care Center Worship last Wednesday. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sunday School: will not sing on Sunday the 5th as planned. They will sing next Sunday. There will not be a coffee hour after Divine Service.

LWML Meeting Postponed until 10:00 Saturday February 11th (upper room) due to funeral. The topic will be from the Quarterly-Blessing of Stress. Hostesses will be Julie Foote and Dina Hensley. 

No-Host Valentine Lunch: Next Sunday February 12th at noon in the Fireside Room at Venture. Please sign up by February 8th
All ages welcome!

Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper: February 22nd at 6:00.
Men will be doing the cooking .
Volunteers needed for bringing food or serving that night.
There will be a sign up sheet in the back of the church.

Youth (grade 6-12): Please let Freda know by February 19th  if interested in a Lock-In and a date that is best. If you lost the form or did not get one, contact Freda.

Our Heartfelt Thanks: to each of you, St John family, for all of your love and caring for us during Jean’s (Mom’s) illness and passing.
We were all so pleased with her memorial service and delicious meal after.

LWML Mission project - this year will be health kits. The list is as follows.
  • One hand towel, dark color recommended
  • One washcloth, dark color recommended
  • One bath-size bar (4-5 oz.) of soap, any brand, in its original wrapping
  • One adult-size toothbrush in its original packaging
  • One sturdy comb, remove packaging
  • One metal nail file or nail clippers with file attached, remove packaging (do not substitute cardboard emery board for the file)
  • Six Band-Aids (or similar brand), preferably 1/2” to 3/4”; secure together with a rubber band.
