What Is Happening at St. John Lutheran Church – Week of August 29th
Care Center Worship—Helpers needed for Wednesday’s worship service. Your help is greatly appreciated and is vital to the mission.
LWML Rally is Saturday, October 9 at Polson . Details to follow.
Confirmation Classes- Pastor will have confirmation classes this fall if there is a need or interest. If you know of a young person eligible for confirmation, and wants to take it; please contact Pastor. Preferred age group is 7th & 8th grade.
Water Park- On August 20, sixteen people enjoyed an afternoon of fun in the sun and shade. There were eight children, two parents, four VBS Staff ( Steve, Abbie, Charlene and Freda) and even two great grandpas: Bob Schleip and Norman Abbot ( Abbie’s dad) had a good time visiting.
Beside water play and games, the food is always a big hit. This year it was the peanut butter bees and sour cream cookies which looked like slices of watermelon. Freda made the bees and Julie Foote made the cookies.
Flyers promoting Sunday School were handed out to each family and mailed to those who were absent.
Thank you for the prayers and cards we received in regard to the passing of my mother. They were very uplifting and needed during this trying time. Again, thanks very much (s) Martha Smith
